Yellow Crownbeard, also known as Verbesina virginica, is an herb native to North America. Some studies suggest that it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is used traditionally for medicinal purposes. It contains a variety of active compounds, such as flavonoids, terpenoids, and polysaccharides yet, the effects of these compounds are not well studied. There is limited scientific evidence to support use as a therapeutic agent, as more research is needed to confirm the safety and efficacy of this plant as a medicine.

The use of Yellow Crownbeard as a cosmetic ingredient is not well studied.
